'THE ASTRAL BALROOM'
Squeeze Mason's brand of moody synth-infused funk rock sets brooding lyrics against heavily syncopated key and bass lines creating an unforgettable and unique vibe.
Their first album, 'The Astral Ballroom' is a highly stylized, unique mosaic of tracks that explore various social and existential issues. Finding the right sequence of words to evoke a specific emotional state is a challenge, but it’s one each of the seven songs on 'The Astral Ballroom' rises to on a wave of theatrical vocals, funky bass, moody keys, psychedelic guitar, and heavy rock beats. The dreamy synth-infused alt-rock of the Squeeze Mason sound has a distinct trippy vibe.
All songs were produced and recorded by the band themselves at Dexter's 'Penfield Production' studio.
